Hi Louise, Loved this post, it spoke to my heart. I felt your words about how we have disconnected from nature. This has happened to me over the years and your work and words have encouraged me to recapture that connection, and rethink my approach to life. It is a process, but worth the effort. Thanks for sharing! P.S. Synchronicity...this week my dear friend and I have started planning a sanctuary to include honoring of nature and where people can come to rediscover their magnificent selves.

Thank you so much Paula! How wonderful to hear that you and your friend have started a sanctuary project in nature for others. Sounds so wonderful! I am sure there are so many who have just not realised that the answer or sanctuary they seek is in the natural world and our connection to it. Wishing you all the best with your beautiful new project. xx

So very beautiful and inspirational. I just love your art and love listening to you speak. It's not just your accent, but your voice is calming. Love seeing all your travel photos and the work inspired by them. I love love love your ideas about creating sanctuary. We've recently moved (well, within the past year) and we are blessed to be able to keep windows and doors open and have all those sounds and smells, and the breeze, right here in our home. We are also fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time outside. I would still love to add more indoors and love your ideas. Thank you.

Ahhhh....love your art, the natural sanctuary images, and video of your creative space...so very inspiring, thank you! Your art attracted me immediately, definitely a kindred mermaid spirit! Daily nature is essential to the wellbeing of my soul - my garden, the seashore are two of my favorites. The sound of the birds, the flowers, the breeze in my hair, the sun on my skin. Just relaxing/napping or doodling/sketching. The view of trees and sky and sound of birds and fresh breeze through the window and along with shells and mini bouquets from my walks in our neighborhood.
