Nature Connection: A free chapter pdf from my book
And a little peek into my UK studio garden update!
Hi lovely friends, no podcast or audio today as I am getting over a really sore throat, so it needs a little rest. I hope to record a new episode in a couple of weeks for you.
So today! I thought I would gift you something you can download and read to help inspire you to connect more deeply with nature where you are in the world. I did share this a while back, so you may already have the download. If you do, I hope this comes as a lovely gentle reminder to reconnect with nature.
I believe it is more important than ever to spend as much time as we can connecting to the natural world, breathing in the air and admiring the beauty of the season.
First of all, below is your free May Printable to color in! Enjoy!

The next phase of my UK garden studio area
I had a wonderful few weeks in the UK working on the garden area around the studio and below is a little peek of how it looked when we left the UK! A little reel will be added to my Instagram soon) If you have been following my studio renovation from last year, you will see how different it now looks! The studio work in progress videos from last year are all on my youtube playlist here.
It was so wonderful to be out in nature working on creating a new space outside to enjoy and hopefully have some veggies to harvest in a few months! I’ll be back in the UK in July, so will let you know! In the meantime, I have left this part of the garden in the capable hands of my mum who is happy to spend time here herself.
Our lovely neighbor needed some of his bamboo cutting down, so we did that for him in exchange for taking the bamboo to use on this veggie arch which I absolutely LOVE.
Nature Connection & Free pdf
I believe that nature heals us and helps us reconnect to ourselves and the world around us. Something that is so needed right now on the planet. Being in nature, breathing those quiet moments in, also helps us to slow down and invite in a sense of calm, something many of us long for as we busy ourselves or feel overwhelmed with everything going on currently.
So, no matter where you are in the world, if you can get outside…..take a walk in nature, whether that be your local park, backyard, countryside or beach! Look up and look down, take in the scenery and see if you can find your own sanctuary in nature, even if it is for a few brief moments. I guarantee you will feel revitalised, refreshed and go about your day with a greater sense of calm.
And of course, if you feel inspired, grab some paper and a pen and see what inspiration you can gather from the beauty you find. Below is a photo from inside the book where I talk about the beauty you can find from one flower.
The free chapter below includes my own connecting with nature story, why I believe it is so important and the benefits of spending time outside. These experiences are what started me on my journey with Botanical Mandala Creating!
If you have already purchased my Botanical Mandalas book, I hope you love this book as much as I loved creating it.
I will be doing an inventory of all of my Botanical Mandala paintings soon for an upcoming project, so look out for more inspiration in the coming months.
If you’ve read this far, I want to let you know how grateful I am that you make space inside your inbox and day for my newsletters.

I will be back soon with a new podcast (once my throat has fully recovered) and more updates as I finish more paintings for an upcoming art exhibit in Spain!
Thank you for supporting the work I do by subscribing. I hope I can continue to inspire.
